Hi, my name is Sue and I run Happy Purrs Cat Care. I am completely passionate about cats and anybody who knows me will say that I am 'cat mad'.
I have always had cats in my life, coming from a family of avid cat lovers. I have over 34+ years experience of being a cat owner and carer and I currently have four beautiful cats of my own. (See ‘Meet the Family’)
Percy - Now, the oldest member of the family and is the face of Happy Purrs Cat Care.
Steve - Originally a stray, he is now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and has been enjoying a life of luxury, in his forever home, for over 10 years.
Betsy and Banjo - Our new recruits! Now 18 months old, they certainly keep their older brothers on their toes!
Over the years I have had 12 cats of my own and have gained a wealth of experience dealing with the trials and tribulations of caring for them. I know exactly how difficult it can be to leave them when we go on holiday.
I hated having to take my beloved cats to the cattery. As soon as my cats saw the dreaded cat baskets they would run and hide, only to be wrestled with to get them into the basket. Then there was the long car journey to the cattery filled with howls and pitiful crying, followed by leaving them in a cage, looking sad and afraid. It was a horrible start to our holiday.
This is why I decided to set up Happy Purrs Cat Care, to provide an alternative! Using Happy Purrs means that you can go away on holiday, business trip or overnight stay, safe in the knowledge that I personally, will be caring for your cats.
